In this episode I introduce you to my pride and joy! My Best Friend Jessie Clinton. 

Jessie is many things-  A Mum, a partner, a friend, a 000 call taker and one of my favourite people to walk this earth. 

If you can’t get an idea of my love and adoration for this girl through this description, it will soon be evident through this audio just how special our friendship and relationship is.

I was so elated that Jessie agreed to come on to the Podcast, I apologise in advance for my high pitch voice, laughter and eagerness as I basically jump all over her like and excited puppy while she tries to speak haha. 

In this episode Jessie and I reflect back on our decade of friendship and the first memories we have of meeting each other. She also explains the interesting paradox of being an introvert who loves to be social and make friends. 

Jessie chats about her childhood, growing up with loving parents but it two different homes and the best & hardest parts of that dynamic. She explains how she had the best of both worlds being an only child half the time and then living in a house amongst siblings the other half. 

She describes her role as a triple 000 call- taker, how this job has changed her and what she enjoys most about her role. We discuss her experience a few years ago travelling Europe with her partner Dan & how much they enjoyed the one on one quality time together for almost 3 months.

Finally we discuss Jessie’s experience with morning sickness, unexpected pregnancy, motherhood & the expectations we all have VS the reality most of us face day to day with our children. Jessie talks fondly about her sweet daughter Goldie, how much she adores being a Mother and how this unexpected miracle has changed her life in the best way possible.
