All marriages have highs and lows, but what happens when things never seem to get better? Have you tried to do everything you think is right, but nothing seems to be working? Communication with your wife has broken down. Resentment grows, walls build up, and you look at your spouse and wonder, what happened to us?
Today we have everyday dad and husband, Ryan on the show. He is the thirty-five-year-old father of three and has a fourth child on the way. His marriage fell into a slump, and he knew he couldn't just leave it on auto-pilot. He joined The Dad Edge Alliance, and in talking with the other members, learned that the marriage problems he had were extremely common and fixable.
Ryan shares what he's learned to take his marriage from "fine" to on fire, and one communication tip that will totally shifted the way his marriage works.

Today, more parents are raising kids with anxiety, depression, and OCD but have no idea how to cope. Judging by the downloads on our shows about anxiety and depression in kids, this topic is in high demand.
Unfortunately, the stigma that still surrounds mental health issues prevents parents from talking about them. The truth is, many mental health issues are part of physiological problems that are beyond a child's control. We need to educate ourselves as parents and help our children walk through their fear and manage their feelings. That is why today we have an exclusive Dad Edge Alliance Q&A with child therapist, Natasha Daniels.
In this show, you will hear everyday dads talk about the real struggles they have with their kids in ages ranging from toddler to teenagers. Natasha Daniels answers questions about different behaviors including panic attacks, strange phobias, and drug abuse.
Find out how to help kids with anxiety and depression and what signs to look out for in this episode!

Are you taking ownership of your business, relationships, health, and future? Or are you blaming things outside yourself for a stagnant life? What is preventing you from living as your best self?
It's the ego.
Most of us don't want to admit we don't have it all figured out. We don't want people to see that we're vulnerable. We close ourselves to learning when we're afraid to ask questions. The ego blocks us from growing.
Today we have an everyday dad on the show to talk about how to drill down to your core values and surrender your ego to supercharge your life.

Today I'm sitting down with everyday dad and alliance member, Mike. He's having a great time now being a father, but it wasn't always this way.
Mike is the father of an 8 year old daughter and a 5 year old son. When his son was first born, he couldn't understand why he didn't feel a connection to his baby. He thought something was wrong with him but was afraid to tell anyone about it. As his kids grew, his noticed his patience was thin, and he was worried he'd end up being "the dad that yelled a lot." He was also afraid that he wouldn't have all the answers to the questions his kids asked, and he suffered chronic anxiety. This was a huge catalyst for change.
One of the hardest things for men to do is ask for help, but Mike was tired of doing life on his own. He didn't want to lean on his wife for everything either. That's when he made himself a priority and joined The Dad Edge Alliance.
Listen to Mike's journey, and why men are better together!
