The Costa Rica family vacation that Dale spent months worrying about… ended up becoming one of his favorite trips ever. After expecting long days, difficult excursions, and a vacation that might test his patience, Dale quickly found out the best moments weren’t the ones anyone planned. Mark Martin's story of resilience, raw talent, and unmatched car knowledge defined the modern era of NASCAR drivers... and today, he sits down with fellow NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. to discuss it all! Mark details key moments that defined his career, especially turning down the Ranier Racing No. 28 car ahead of the 1982 season. From there, Mark discusses his long and complicated relationship with Jack Roush.

Mark feared Jack, but a trip to a test track and an unauthorized plane landing helped Mark realize the true level of their relationship. In that same trip, Mark and his team got reckless and totaled a group of rental cars — and somehow, the story never got out. And Jack? He was none the wiser. Racing back in the '80s and '90s brought its own slew of challenges, and Mark details several such moments, including subbing out of the car at Pocono mid-race due to heat exhaustion. On top of that, Mark raced with a hand-operated clutch in his late model just weeks after suffering a vicious crash.

Jordan Anderson's path to becoming a NASCAR team owner was anything but conventional. From pitching sponsors as a 12-year-old to selling his Super Late Model after being caught in the fallout of a series of bounced checks, Jordan shares the moments that kickstarted a racing career that began with one simple goal: making a single NASCAR Truck Series start. That one start turned into a full-time season, which ultimately led to the birth of Jordan Anderson Racing.

From handshake deals to changing engines in hotel parking lots, Jordan was willing to do whatever it took to survive. Along the way, he met his future business partner, John Bommarito, whose mentorship helped take the organization to the next level.

Summer vacation is nearing it’s end, and somehow it’s almost time to send the kids back to school. Dale and Amy aren’t fully ready for it, but they’re making the most of their time at the beach. Their good friend TJ Majors borrowed Isla’s scooter and quickly found himself on the ground. Amy took the girls to a Taylor Swift cover band that she thought was kid-friendly, but that thought quickly faded. And Dale had a run-in with a code enforcement officer over a beach house project.
