In this episode we will talk about nightmares, which are a common occurrences and a symptom strongly associated with PTSD. An awful and tiring experience that might be able to be avoided.
As I said, the nightmares that you get while suffering from PTSD are well known and they can range drastically. From relatively normal nightmares to being so terrifying that you don’t even dare to breathe when you wake up from them.
We will first talk about where do the nightmares comes from, then what we can do about them and then a little trick I use.

Hello my dears,
It is this time of the year again and though a bit late, I wanted to remind you to be kind to and not so hard on yourself.
This time of the year is rough especially for those who suffered losses, already feel disconnected, have a complicated family situation and so on. If you add the limited daylight and it just gets worse. Same goes for worries about paying the bills - especially this year.
It is a lot. And in such times it is especially important to be patient with yourself and not add additional pressure. Which is hard I know. But I hope this can give you a bit of validation.
Sometimes all we can do is hang in there and that is okay. We all go at our own pace. Not giving up is important and worthy of a treat here and there. 

I hope you are well, I wish you the best for the next year and that you get out of this as soon as possible.

In this episode we will talk about isolation - a topic which occurs throughout, from the traumatic experience itself up to the healing process.
When we talk about isolation in this episode, we refer to both the literal isolation by being separated from everyone else physically, as well as the figurative isolation where people can be around, but you are still isolated.

In this episode we will talk about the question why we cry so much - especially during our healing process - and why crying is a good thing. It is an important part for getting better, but often quite confusing.
There is of course some opinions about who can and can’t cry and those are absolute nonsense. Crying is an important part of a healthy human being and mental health and also very important for bonding with other people.

In this episode we will talk about feeling hollow, which can feel like a hole inside of you - that somehow hurts.That feeling is the reason for many problems, sufferings and harmful behavior. Not just with PTSD and many are affected.
The feeling hollow is quite widespread, but hardly talked about. Quite difficult to describe the feeling properly without having experienced it. This sometimes yawning void.
