This is a young brand that’s operating well beyond their years, and Andrea’s approach to presenting the brand and their designs is a big reason for that. In this episode, we discuss the origins of the brand, their approach to design, inspiration, and mechanics, and what’s on the horizon for their catalog. We also talk about their stunning Only Watch creation that will set the tone for an upcoming collection. Furlan Marri is working with some serious talent to develop their original ideas, which are closer than you might imagine.

Nick also co-hosts a number of podcasts about sneakers, cars, and Formula 1 in particular, all of which are discussed in this episode. This week I'm happy to welcome the CEO of Parmigiani Fleurier, Guido Terreni. Parmigiani is a brand that has released some of the most interesting watches in recent memory across their modern sport-chic Tonda collection, and most recently with the introduction of a new Toric (you can see my initial reaction to the Toric from Geneva right here). In this discussion, Guido shares insights to what it means to create a formal watch, and how Parmigiani thinks a bit differently about the genre as a whole. It's difficult to argue with the results, but his thinking certainly adds a level of depth to the overall approach taken.
