I am not an advocate for physicians leaving medicine.

What I am is an advocate for physicians practicing medicine on their terms, which might look like owning a private practice or individual weight loss coaching or courses for physician financials.

I want you to do what you want to do, doctors!

Whatever you do, you will want to make sure your business can function without you. I know you don't want to step away or sell it right now, but building a business that is sellable makes it an asset. And that means you have options.

I want doctors to have options!

Imagine building a business on something you love and then being able to love it even more because you get it to a place where it can run without you so you can ... travel every month, take a year sabbatical, operate it from a distance, or even sell it and retire!

Yes, this is possible. I am living it.

Do I think of selling my practice right now? No. Do I take comfort in knowing I have options? YES! I've been away from it for 17 months, so I know it won't fall apart (it's actually grown since I made my move from practicing physician to CEO!).
