If there is one thing that is obvious about Frank Fallico, it’s that he is a very happy person.

Born and raised in Toronto to Italian immigrants, Frank still lives and works in Toronto as a realtor, real estate investor and part time musician.

Growing up on a farm in small town Alberta with a family of six, the appreciation for hard work and discipline was instilled in Randy at a young age. A life-changing accident as a teenager also fueled a drive and determination for excellence which Randy has woven into every facet of his life.

Described as both forthright and a force of nature, Janet has applied her ability and love of problem solving and deal making into a growing enterprise that now rivals any of the biggest publicly listed real estate businesses.

Janet got the deal-making bug early. Among other pursuits, her father owned two apartment buildings, and the term “passive income” became an early childhood building block. At 25, she got a real estate coach and in 2008, the market imploded. Most thought the real estate sky was falling; Janet saw the heavens opening up. In the space of two years, Janet bought and sold 58 homes all the while nurturing a flourishing career in the corporate world.

As her vision grew, so too did her business. In 2011, Janet co-founded Western Wealth Capital and in 2012 she left the corporate world behind. Currently WWC has a portfolio of 5,100 rental units, with a purchase value of $510 million. Janet’s growth outlook is to make Western Wealth a $1 billion company and has plans to diversify outside of the Phoenix market.

Janet was recently named one of Business in Vancouver’s Forty Under 40 and was awarded the Veuve Clicquot Canadian New Generation Award, recognizing young female entrepreneurs. She is also a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2017.

Janet places a high value on her family and giving back. In 2016, Janet created the “We’ve Got Your Back” charity drive. This year, the annual initiative provided over 1,300 backpacks to children living on WWC properties to help them start their first day of school on the right foot.

Grounded in commitment, clarity and living life with “fun intensity”, Janet has built a vigorous culture around her that thrives in excellence and integrity.

Born in Tanzania, East Africa, Jose Jafferji immigrated to Canada at the age of ten, full of anticipation and excitement. This energy has not waned in the subsequent 25 years and has kept Jose curious, passionate and driven.

Jose’s professional journey includes inventor, engineer, multi-level marketer, real estate investor, coach and realtor to name just a few. The consistent threads that are woven throughout Jose’s successful journey are continuous education, improvement and taking action. These have been instrumental in achieving his goals.

Starting out in real estate in his early twenties, Jose was able to grow his portfolio in just a few short years using strategies like rent to own, multi-family, renovate to flip, and single family buy and hold. Today, almost a decade after purchasing his very first property, he is a full time award winning investor, and is sought after as an expert speaker, guest columnist and adviser on various real estate markets.

Having attained a great deal of success through real estate investing Jose gains fulfillment showing others the power of real estate and supporting them to use it as a vehicle for wealth and lifestyle creation.

Working hand in hand with his wife who is also his best friend and business partner, Jose is living life on his terms. One year ago their world became extraordinary as they proudly welcomed their first baby boy, Daniel.

When he isn’t working, Jose is an avid reader, listener of audio books, travel enthusiast and big time foodie. He believes that there are no limitations in life, and that the sky is truly the limit.

Garnet Etsell grew up in Vancouver on the family’s blueberry farm and although it was berries that “paid for his university” the idea of farming berries didn’t interest him. The family farming experience and agriculture however, certainly did.

Fuelled by his passion, Garnet moved to Alberta where he attended Olds Agricultural College. Upon returning to the west coast, Garnet decided, along with the encouragement of his mother, to expand his education. Along with agriculture, Garnet also earned his business degree in accounting.

This achievement led to more than 30 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer for an agricultural group of companies in Abbotsford BC. He also worked with dairy, sheep, poultry, hay and…. grapes.

It took some time for Garnet and Debbie, his wife of 40 years, to fulfill their vision of owning and operating a commercial farming business. It was with the right connections and capital generated through real estate projects, that they were able to purchase a turkey farm - which was the beginning of their growing dream.

This eventually paved the path for Garnet and his family to return to the farmlands of Mt. Lehman in Abbotsford and to start another family business: Singletree Winery.

Today Garnet is a journeyman jack-of-all-trades in agriculture and business. His role with the winery involves planning, financing, administrating, and he proudly serves in his role as the chief gopher in caring for the vineyards.

After moving to Calgary in the late 90’s to play basketball for the University of Calgary, Renée Huse spent ten years trading commodities through one of the wildest oil and gas runs that Alberta has seen. Through that experience Renée landed in the real estate world, got super clear on her strategy, became a Member of the Real Estate Investment Network and hasn’t looked back. Her real estate portfolio consists of single family homes in Calgary and suited properties in Edmonton. She’s a big voice for positive tenant/landlord relationships and manages her own properties impeccably.

Renée is an avid skier, happier biking than walking, a bookworm, an international travel junkie, a landlord to 26 dynamic families, the wife of the most amazing man she knows, supermom to 3 fantastic kids and most recently a mentor and mortgage advisor to new home purchasers.

In Renée’s words: “My real estate portfolio funds my life. To me, financial freedom means choice. Choices about where I live, what I do, what I eat, what I learn, who I spend time with and most importantly, who I AM. Really, it allows me to do the things that set me on fire, with the people I love.
