The Fellowship - Recovered 1244

Listen Later

Alcoholics Anonymous refers to the fellowship as their group of people dedicated to a 12-step lifestyle which includes meetings and service work.  It’s not just about the meetings for them, it’s about the gathering of the people in the meetings. People who are there to support you and who need your support.  They will become a valued circle of friendship and fellowship in your recovery.

One of the most important benefits of friendship and fellowship in recovery is the positive support you will receive as you work through the challenges you may face after starting your recovery program. The Fellowship and a sponsor can guide you through the steps that will help you build up a support group of friends, as well as help you identify those unhealthy relationships and behaviors that you will need to avoid going forward.

Tonight, we talk about The Fellowship

So, here is

Verse 27 - Everyone Is My Teacher

Good works leave no trace.
Good plans use no schemes.

Those living sober rescue others and reject no one.
This is called following the light.

We learn from the most unlikely teachers and influence the most unlikely students.

If we are not open-minded as to what we can receive from others, especially those who we feel have nothing to teach us, we will end up utterly lost.

This is essential wisdom.
