Hope leads the eating disorder campaign, Dump the Scales, which is on a mission to change the guidance provided to front line health care professionals to understand that eating disorders are not defined by weight.
Hope also hosts talks for schools, universities and parents to increase awareness and early intervention to reduce the prevalence of eating disorders.
In todays episode we talk about the importance of increasing eating disorder awareness through conversations as well as the importance of letting go of this "one size fits all" in eating disorder diagnosis and treatment.
Finally, Hope shares insight into how she stayed motivated through her recovery and the important things she does today to ensure her eating disorder doesn't creep back in.
