What would your ideal ‘fantasy eating disorder recovery facility’ look like?
Faced with a stay in a treatment unit, is it the manner of the people which matters most, the ability to open a window (for goodness sake!), the music that’s played during mealtimes, or the devotion and dedication with which issues around careers and future ambitions are discussed with you as you recover?
In this episode, Sarah and Debbie explore some of the factors that a ‘good’ recovery unit needs to incorporate, and they share their experiences of being ‘inpatient’.
This episode is also a call to arms for you to get in touch with what you feel is the necessary component of a great centre or service, and to ask you to tell us about the centres you’ve been admitted to, or indeed, those that you work for.
