This episode finds me in conversation with Brooke Aichroth, an herbalist and healer right down the road from us, here on Mt. Hood. Although not at the same time, Brooke & I share some education history with Vital Ways Institute (formerly Portland School of Traditional Western Herbalism. We share a love of the neverending nature of herbal education, that there is always more to learn. We talk about some of our favorite shared educators, plant friends (such as lemon balm & gotu kola), and resources.
You can access Brooke’s services as a Reiki master, intuitive guide, herbalist, & holistic health coach on her White River Healings site. Her herbal products are available in- person at the Mt. Hood Farmers Market in Sandy, OR, but if you aren’t in the area (or season), check out her Etsy shop Soul Sister Earth Medicine. You can also keep up with Brooke via social on Facebook & Instagram @whiteriverhealings.
Brooke has experienced most of the health issues she helps heal others with. Her life experiences have led her to specialize in assisting others with shock, grief, loss, trauma and illness of different kinds. Brooke has been a Reiki healer for the past 5 years, receiving the attunements from the Omega Institute in New York and in Portland, Oregon. Brooke also has completed her certificate in Holistic Herbalism from Vital Ways Institute.
Through very challenging life conditions and experiences, Brooke has managed to transform from debilitating mental and physical illness to vibrant health. Through years of education, Reiki, meditation, holistic health practices and spiritual tools she has healed her past and took control of her health. Brooke’s journey has inspired her to educate, heal and assist others on how to live a happier, healthier and more positive existence. There is nothing that gives her greater joy than helping others on their journey.
