Jessi Haggerty, registered dietitian and certified intuitive eating counselor, joins me for the third episode on this podcast series of questions!
In this episode, we dissect the question, what is intuitive eating? We pull back the big veil that social media often has on the words “intuitive eating.” It is much more than a set of principles, AND we should and do give credit to the authors of the books on Intuitive Eating, dietitians Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resche. Intuitive eating doesn’t fit into the same box for every person and certainly is full of nuance.

Jessi Haggerty, registered dietitian and certified intuitive eating counselor, joins me for a podcast series of questions!
In this episode of the series, we totally deconstruct diet culture, why it matters, and how to recognize it in all its sneaky tactics. For example, most recently diet culture decided to slap “Intuitive” in front of fasting, trying to gaslight folx into thinking that meticulously planning ahead and eating at certain times of day while fasting for an exact number of hours is, in any way, intuitive.
