Covid put me on my butt big time! What started out as hay-fever symptoms, it quickly turned into below zero energy, a non-stop headache, loss of taste and smell and reduced lung capacity.

But what knocked me for a six was the zip-a-dee-doo-da energy levels and not having anything to give expect for going to the toilet, eating food, watching Sex And The City reruns and moving from the couch, to bed.

My ego was really challenged during the 8 days of intense symptoms. No energy to cook, clean, sweep the floors, fluff the cushions, straighten the rug, pick up tiny granules of dirt that no-one else can see but me, and more! Plus, no energy to meditate, journal and make plans for the new year. I felt like the biggest blob and sloth who had nothing to offer or give, and that taught me something.
