The Murder Diaries

This week on the Murder Diaries we're talking to Kim Devins, the mother of Bianca Devins. We wanted to share this conversation so our listeners can get more insight into who Bianca was, Kim's experience as the mother of a murder victim, and her new pursuit of justice in the name of her daughter.

To further help, contact your local congress representatives and say we need to repeal section 230. We need a law to hold social media companies responsible for the content on their platforms.

Stay tuned next week for an exclusive interview with Bianca’s mom, Kim

Growing internet personality and E-Girl, Bianca Devins, was 17 in 2019, when she met a new friend online. The two finally met in person after discovering they lived near not from each other and became close. They hung out frequently, and her family even got to know and trust him. That trust would be broken one terrible night after a concert in New York City.

In August of 2000, 23-year-old Welsh backpacker Kirsty Jones was just two months into the year-long trip of a lifetime: backpacking through Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. After having dinner with new friends, Kirsty did some shopping at a local bazaar, then made the short walk back to the guest house she was staying at in Chiang Mai in the country of Thailand. The next afternoon, Kirsty was found dead inside of her room, strangled and sexually assaulted. Despite DNA being found at the scene, Thai police allowed the room to be contaminated over and over, sinking the investigation before it even started. 23 years later, Kirsty will never have justice in the court system.

This is her story.

Yolanda Bindics disappeared after a routine shift at work on August 10, 2004. Two years later her skeletal remains were found in a wooden area over two dozen miles from where she was last seen.

The news coverage on her case has been minimal and at times inaccurate. The police department’s communication and cooperation with her family was rocky. And yet, almost 20 years later, her siblings are still fighting tirelessly for their sister, and now, Yolanda's daughter Alley is joining them.

Her name is Yolanda Bindics.

This is her story.

(For this episode we had the privilege of speaking with Yolanda’s daughter, Alley, who was only two-years-old when her mother disappeared.)

Investigators asked anyone who remembers seeing either Bindics or Carte between 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug, 10, 2004 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004 to call them at or or email

Just five years old. Always had a smile on her face, the cutest giggle you’ve ever heard. Curly blonde hair, brown eyes and a great big smile. She loved to play with purses, makeup and other “girlie stuff.” Then one night she vanished. Went to bed and has never been seen again.

Her name is HaLeigh Cummings.

This is her story.

HaLeigh’s family is still desperate to find out what happened to her. If you have any information about the case, please contact the Putnam County Sheriff's Office at . A $15,000 reward is available for anyone providing information that leads to her whereabouts.

When five-year-old HaLeigh went missing on February 10, 2009, she was between 3 feet and 3 feet 3 inches tall and weighed 39 pounds. She is Caucasian with curly blonde hair and brown eyes. She has a 4-inch round birthmark on the lower left side of her back, and 2 birthmarks on her face - one on her left cheek and one on her right jawline. Today, HaLeigh would be 19-years old.

GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-us-find-nancy-and-support-the-ng-family

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/helpusfindnancy/

From the families GoFundMe:

"Nancy Ng went missing in Lake Atitlán in Guatemala on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

She is 29 years old. She loves yoga, traveling, hiking with her family, and cuddling with her cat. She has a kind heart, a big smile, and can talk to anyone about anything (and often, everything). She’s a caring daughter, a loving sister, and a supportive friend.

With the help of Guatemala’s National Tourism Assistance Program and some kind locals, we have mobilized search and rescue efforts. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help support these efforts as well as the Ng Family as they navigate this unfamiliar, terrifying situation.

It’s never easy to ask for money. It’s even harder under these circumstances. But any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in helping us do all we can to find Nancy and assure the Ng Family that they are not alone. If you can donate, please do. And if you do, please leave a note or say a prayer for Nancy and her family. It’ll mean so much to them.

As of now, the funds will be directed towards the following:

Rescue efforts

Family support

In the event that the search and rescue efforts are unsuccessful, the funds will be directed towards funeral arrangements.

Any remaining funds will be donated to a charity to be determined by the Ng Family.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts, prayers, and support. We will keep you updated as we receive more news."
