On June 27, 1995, 27 year old Jodi Huisentruit was supposed to be at the news station at 3:00am. When Jodi wasn’t there by 4:00am, the producer called Jodi and woke her up. Jodi said she overslept and would be in ASAP. When Jodi didn’t show up for the 6:00 newscast, the producer filled in for the hour show. When the newscast was over, the producer asked a coworker to call the police to do a welfare check. When police arrived at Jodi’s apartment complex, they saw signs of a struggle in the parking lot - it was pretty obvious that Jodi had been abducted.

Police have never named any suspects or made any arrests in Jodi’s case. Her body has never been found, although she was declared legally dead in 2001.

This is her story.

Anyone with information on Jodi’s case can reach out to the Mason City Police Department at (641) 421-3636. Information can also be provided to the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations at (515) 725-6010 or [email protected]

In the fall of 2019 Tiffany Booth was starting anew. She’d moved states, had a job that she enjoyed and was about to meet a man who she thought she could spend the rest of her life with. But that man wouldn’t change her life for the better, instead, he would end it.

The investigation that followed would be led in part by her family who, through their large network, was able to discover crucial leads in the case. In the span of 10 days Tiffany Booth’s case would go from being a missing person’s investigation to a homicide investigation to finally a national manhunt.

Today, Tiffany’s family knows where she is and knows in their gut what happened to her but she still doesn’t have justice and her killer is still at large.

Just five years old. Cute as a button. She had brown hair and brown eyes. Never met a stranger. Loved to make people laugh. Always had a funny joke to tell. Followed it up with “Waka waka,” just like Fozzie Bear from the Muppets.

Adored all things Disney. And swimming. She would never turn down a dance party. Loved to read and be read to. Her favorite books? Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and Night Night Little Pookie were two of her favorites.

And then one day she disappeared. As if that weren’t horrible enough, her parents didn’t report her missing for ten months.

Her name is Oakley Carlson.

This is her story.

Anyone who has any information about Oakley Lynn Carlson’s disappearance are asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office investigation division at [email protected] or call 360-964-1729

This week Natalie was privileged to speak with Anna Nasset. Anna is a victim and survivor of stalking since 2011. This first hand experience has led her to becoming an international speaker on the subject, while also training thousands on the importance of recognizing stalking. We talk about gender based violence, romanticizing stalking, and her book, "Now I Speak" which is all about her stalking experience and the legal battle that led to the imprisonment of her stalker.

Dana MacKay was born in Los Angeles, California, on February 12 1956. Dana had a daughter, Misty, born around 1980, with a woman named Alifonsa. Dana was a well known personality in Las Vegas in the late 70’s and through the 80’s. Dana was the image of the King, and even in candid family photos he looks like he could pass for Elvis. He didn’t just look like Elvis, he sounded like him, too. Dana was able to perform the king's hits with a backup band and his own vocals. He eventually decided to hang up his white rhinestone jumpsuit and focus on his other passion which was landscaping. However, Dana wouldn’t be able to fulfill his new dream of running a successful landscaping business.

This is his story.

Cold case detectives believe the case can be solved with more input from the public. Anyone with information is urged to call LVMPD Homicide Section at 702-828-3521

In late April of 2010, 23-year-old Aubrey Sacco was in the last stretch of a solo trek she’d made to Asia following her graduation from the University of Colorado. Aubrey, a beautiful, artistic, and soulful young lady, wasn’t fearful of traveling alone. She made friends in foreign countries, playing soccer with locals, tutoring schoolchildren, and practiced yoga with new friends. On April 21st, Aubrey made her way into the Langtang National Park in Nepal, promising her parents that this hike through the Himalayas wouldn’t take more than 7-10 days, and that she’d email them as soon as she returned. Her email never came. Aubrey disappeared after leaving a small lodge and never reached her destination. More than 10 years later, there are still no clues as to what happened to Aubrey or where she might be.

This is her story

No evidence has ever been found to indicate that Aubrey was the victim of foul play. She remains missing. If you have any information about the disappearance of Aubrey Sacco, please contact the Sacco family on their website or official Facebook page.
