Happiness is a complicated and multifaceted notion. Everyone aspires to be happy, but only a select few are actually happy. What then is that one thing we need to truly make us happier? Understand your own needs, wants, and desires. 2. Shift your perspective. Take time to reflect on the good in your life and to express gratitude and appreciation for all that you have. 3. Take control of your thoughts and emotions: Your thoughts and emotions have a powerful impact on your life, and it is important to take control of them. 4. Take action.
