Not a day goes by where the ego won’t attempt to steal your focus and plant it on petty shit.
It’ll rant and rave about how you’re not ready, worthy, enough or perfect and make you do shit to be all those things before you can focus on what you truly want.
But denying that the ego exists, desperately trying to make it go away so that you'll live happily ever after without it is a quest that'll disappoint you until the end of your days. Toxic positivity, spiritual bypassing or shoving your ego into a box hoping it'll never return isn't going to bring you inner peace.
No one is exempt from the ego, no matter how much work we do on ourselves. The work needs to become about the sheer desire to grow and develop, rather than to eradicate a part of ourselves.
