The integrity of the organic label has eroded even further with the recent decision by the courts to allow hydroponically grown food to be labeled as “organic.”  Dave Chapman, co-Executive Director of the Real Organic Project, joins Joel and Sina for an in depth discussion about why hydroponics should not be labeled “organic,” how they are inferior nutritionally and ecologically, how prevalent hydroponics already are in America, and how we can find REAL organic food.
