Successful people have put in thousands, tens of thousands of hours, in mastering what they do. Our brain often wants to find a “hack” so we can reach our end result faster. But there’s no secret hack. It’s all based on cause and effect. You must BECOME the person who does it by studying where you’re going. That involves experiencing constant change, growth, and making adjustments.

Many people can’t change, won’t change, or get tired of changing, so they drop out of whatever they’re doing. They look for a magical transformation that never happens. If you want to achieve anything in life, you need to make a lifelong study out of that thing.

In today’s episode you’ll learn:

Understanding someone’s journey—what they had to overcome, how they overcame it, and what they learned—can help you reach your desired end result

Why looking only at the end result of success can be an “illusion” that doesn’t show the process it took to get there—or the mistakes successful people made along the way

Why getting the end result won’t solve all of your problems—and the idea of “short-cutting” your way to success is often based on unconscious programming and core wounds

How your subconscious mind gets you to avoid doing the things necessary to get you where you want to go (so you can avoid experiencing your core wound)

Why so many people adapted poorly to COVID

My own process of studying everything that stands out to me, including biographies of people who are in completely different fields
