People have a tendency to get stuck in their thinking. No matter what, they can’t seem to make a decision, come to a resolution, or move forward.

My mentor used to say, “If you have a problem, look in the mirror—you are your only problem, and you are your only solution.”

If you understand how to think accurately, you can move yourself through any problem or moment of feeling stuck.

In today’s episode you’ll learn:

A person will stay stuck if they have a need to be right—and the need to be right usually indicates they don’t want to know the truth about something

The more emotional you are about something, the more attached you are to the need to be right (this is the ego’s way of engaging in self-preservation)

When you’re confused or stuck, there’s usually something you’re resisting being, doing, having, or letting go of

The only way to get to the truth of any situation is to take 100% responsibility for everything you think, feel, do, and experience from your point of view

Taking responsibility for everything in your life cancels out the blame (and the need to be right will always have a thread of blame attached to it)

If you need other people to change for you to be happy, you’ll stay captive to the problem

There’s an old saying, “Know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Do you want to know the truth, or do you want to be right? If you’re being held in bondage by any problem, situation, or untrue idea that’s stuck in your mind—that’s not freedom.
