I am so excited to welcome my wise pal, Vanessa Cornell, to the show to share her story of breaking down to break through. Vanessa had everything she could have ever dreamed of - a loving husband, five children, abundance and success - and yet, she felt trapped in a crushing and debilitating loneliness. (I'm sure many of you can relate!)
We also talked about how to navigate mom guilt (and why it's really fear in disguise), how high-functioning codependency shows up in motherhood, how we're taught to be in the world and why it causes rage and resentment later on, and so much more.
I hope you enjoy this heartfelt girlfriend jam as much as I did.

Do you endlessly think about the mistakes you've made?
Do you replay the scene and ruminate over what you could have or should have done differently?
Are you filled with regret, worried you'll make the same mistake again?
If so, you're not alone.
But living in regret is living in the past, which isn't empowering. What is healing and empowering is to work through our regrets and learn from them to make better decisions in the future.
In this episode, I'm sharing a different perspective on regret which may lessen feelings of shame, the four types of regret (from behavioral scientist Daniel Pink), and how to move on from endless rumination.

I am super excited to welcome my new pal, Jessica Zweig, to the show to talk about her newest book, THE LIGHT WORK: Reclaim Your Feminine Power, Live Your Cosmic Truth, Illuminate the World.
While Jessica is most known for her work as a brand expert and entrepreneur, she is here to talk about her journey into the dark to find the light.
We had such a beautiful, soulful, and nourishing conversation around Jessica's burn out, coming back to ourselves, navigating the shame we often feel around "failure," redefining success, AND how embracing the feminine helps us succeed.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Have you ever immediately disliked someone and wondered why?
Do you have heightened reactions to offhanded comments from strangers?
Do you have a pattern of getting into conflict with specific types of people?
All of these interactions are potential indicators of transference, which is when we have an amplified response to someone in the present because they remind you of something or someone from your past.
Transference is often painful and confusing, which is why I am breaking down what it is (with a personal example) and sharing how you can stop repeating these patterns in your relationships.

I am so thrilled to have family estrangement expert Dr. Joshua Coleman on the show. I had the pleasure of meeting him on the set of a TV show we were invited to do and on my way there, I listened to his book, Rules of Estrangement, and I think you'll love it.
I invited Dr. Coleman on to talk further about it because cutting contact with parents is something many of you have painfully decided to do, and Dr. Coleman shares his wisdom *and* personal experience with us here.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
