The Wake-Up Call You Didn’t Know You Needed: When You No Longer Feel Like Yourself (Hint: Hormones, Perimenopause & Power) with Expert Marcella Hill

Listen Later

Marcella Hill — Founder & CEO of Wake Her Up is a lifelong entrepreneur and creator of global brands like Peek-a-Boo Stuff and Love Woolies. But her most meaningful work began at 38, when a health crisis left her feeling numb, exhausted, and lost. After a partial hysterectomy, she spiraled—until discovering hormone therapy transformed her life within a week.

Marcella shared her story on TikTok in 2022—9 million views later, she realized this wasn’t just her story, it was everywoman’s story. Her book Wake Her Up sparked a global movement, giving women real support through midlife, perimenopause, and beyond.

Today, Marcella leads Wake Her Up—a trusted hormone health platform and vibrant community helping women stop fading and start living fully awake. She’s been featured on Oprah, NBC News, and more, and continues to lead through storytelling, advocacy, and purpose.

Marcella lives in Utah with her husband and three kids, building a future where no woman is left in the dark about her body again.

Ashlynn Mitchell is the former cohost of the top 10 podcast The Betrayed, The Addicted & The Expert, and the voice behind This Is Ashlynn, a show redefining what it means to thrive in midlife. After a public divorce that ended a 21-year marriage and reshaped her career, Ashlynn turned personal pain into purpose. Today, she guides women through the messy, magical process of healing and reinvention after betrayal, divorce, or a lifetime of self-abandonment.

With two teenage daughters and a life she rebuilt from the ground up, Ashlynn leads with lived experience. Her coaching and soulful retreats are spaces where women learn to trust themselves again, reclaim their joy, and stop playing small. She’s not here to tell you who to be, she’s here to remind you who you already are.

Ashlynn’s work is for women who are done dimming their light and ready to own their story, their pleasure, their peace, and their power. When she’s not coaching, you’ll find her hiking, roller skating, or dancing like no one’s watching.
