  • I've Got Time Today

This week we're talking about "Making Time" for folks. When you "Make Time" for someone you're carving out time to get folks together when they have crossed your boundaries. There are a lot of people out here making reckless assumptions that can violate our boundaries. So, we need to make time to help guide them back to the right path with love and clarity. Let's discuss!

Episode 73 -Romanticize Your Life: https://www.buzzsprout.com/851650/8914276-romanticize-your-life.mp3?download=true

Four Agreements By Don Miguel Ruiz: https://www.miguelruiz.com/the-four-agreements
    The Four Agreements are:

    1. Be Impeccable With Your Word.
    2. Don't Take Anything Personally.
    3. Don't Make Assumptions.
    4. Always Do Your Best.

    Steps To Successfully "Making Time":

    1) Make sure you're in a place where you're not emotional.
    - Are you ready to proceed or do you need to take a moment to collect yourself?

    2) Write down what you want to discuss.
-Be specific about the issues to ensure all of your points are addressed.

    3) Stay calm and make sure you're coming from a place of love.
    -
Be impeccable with your words. Don't waste time arguing.

    4) Be ready to receive feedback.
-You can't allow anger or hurt to cloud the discussion. You also may need to walk away until you can move forward in a positive manner.

    5) You have to ensure understanding.
-Reiterate your feedback and hold them accountable to what you expect.

    6) You have to be willing to move on after the feedback is given.
-You can't hold a grudge. You have to be willing to move forward without throwing it back  in the person's face. We can't hold people prisoner to things in the past.

  • Spaces

This week we're talking about being valued vs. tolerated. There have been too many times that we have allowed ourselves to be tolerated vs. valued in our professional & personal life. It's time to change that. Let's talk about what you can do to identify it and fix it. It won't be easy. But, we're in this together.

Tips to help you recognize whether you are "tolerated" or "valued":

    1. If you feel that there is something not right, ask for clarity about the situation.
    2. Try not to make assumptions
    3. Control your emotions and be prepared for the answer you receive
    4. Take a moment to process what you uncover
    5. Be clear about what you want from the situation or person
    6. Be impeccable with your words toward yourself and other people
    7. Decide your course of action based on your personal boundaries

  • Building the Blueprint

This week is round 2 of  joy. This week we get a little clearer about what you can do to begin the process of "doing the work" to manifest joy and happiness.

Episode 67 "Possessing the Secret of Joy":  https://www.buzzsprout.com/851650/8641891-possessing-the-secret-of-joy.mp3?download=true

Five tips for beginning the journey to joy (Self-Awareness Work):

    1. Check in with yourself: Is it time to bring someone else in to help you deal with your feelings? Do you have a supportive environment to process any feelings that can be holding you back?
    2. Begin to look at what happiness/recognition/love/joy  looks like for you: This is your time to define what this feels like. What affirms you? Check out the " Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman : https://www.5lovelanguages.com
    3. You have to put it into practice:  You need to be willing to look at the areas of your life that don’t make you happy and/or bring you joy and start making adjustments.Check out the "Year of Yes" by Shonda Rhimes: https://www.amazon.com/Year-Yes-Dance-Stand-Person/dp/1476777128
    4. You have to be your greatest cheerleader: You must be able to speak over yourself. This is going to help you stay focused as you're moving through the challenges that life will throw at you.
    5. Accountability: Use your voice to make sure that when you're not feeling affirmed, that you take steps to correct it. This is done through love with a desire to manifest growth.

  • Bring It On

This week we're talking more about vulnerability, and my continued love for "You Are Your Best Thing" by Tarana Burke and Brene' Brown. But, we also dive into how it important it is to remember that you're a baddie. It's important to heal, but it's also important to remember that you're amazing. So, let's dive into how we have to pivot vulnerability into being able to talk about our accomplishments and speak life into ourselves. Let's find some joy together!!
