Dr. Shazma Mithani is an ER doctor in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She works in both a paediatric ER as well as an inner city ER there. Her passion is improving the health literacy of the general population to keep them informed with credible health information, and ideally keep them out of the ER. She believes in a strong public healthcare system that is accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
