On this week's Thursday Thoughts, Polly and I are talking about resilience.
Resilience is all about moving through the difficulties in life without allowing them to stop us in our tracks. It’s about picking ourselves up, dusting ourselves off, and continuing to move forwards.
We talk about why it’s important to build resilience, and how we can go about cultivating more of it.
We hope you’ll find something useful in here!

On this week’s Thursday Thoughts, Polly and I are talking about the importance of following what feels good.
The truth is that we are all 99% energy, and we’re all vibrating at different frequencies ranging from the more ‘high vibe’ states such as joy and appreciation, to the more ‘low vibe’ states such as anger and shame.
Like attracts like, so when we’re feeling good, we’re going to attract people and circumstances vibrating at a similarly high frequency. And by the same token, when our general mood is low, we will attract more of the people and circumstances also vibrating at lower frequencies.
So how we’re feeling is important, and it’s up to us to check in with ourselves on a regular basis so that we can intentionally raise our vibration wherever possible. The moral of the story is…follow what feels good as much as you can!
We hope you find this helpful.
Enjoy!

On today's Thursday Thoughts, Polly & I are talking all about habits.
We discuss some of the ways to start cultivating a habit, such as making it easy and making it obvious.
We also talk about the importance of knowing your 'why' when it comes to starting (or kicking) a habit, as well as getting back up when we inevitably fall off the wagon.
Finally, we briefly touch on bad habits, and how we can start to eliminate them.
We hope you'll find something useful in here!

On today's minisode, I'm sharing the best advice I can give to any single, childless woman.
The long and short of it is that we're best served when we look inside of ourselves for the solutions to our problems.
And while it might feel like the answers lie in something outside of ourselves, i.e. a boyfriend / girlfriend, or a baby, this isn't actually the case.

Would you describe yourself as an introvert, or an extrovert?
Or perhaps you're even an extroverted introvert, like Polly and I!
As extroverted introverts, albeit very different ones, we were fascinated to dive into this conversation.
We discuss what it means to be either an introvert, or an extrovert, and how in western culture, introverts are often described as 'shy' or 'reserved', whereas extroverts tend to be celebrated for being 'outgoing' and 'confident' - not necessarily always the case in either instance.
We hope you'll find something useful in here!

Let’s be real — being single and child-free? It’s pretty damn awesome. Don’t believe me? Stick around. I promise you, by listening to this podcast, you’re going to start seeing your solo life in a…
I’m Lucy Meggeson, and I’m here to help you stop seeing singlehood as a consolation prize and start embracing it as the incredible opportunity that it is. Because the truth? Being single isn’t second best. It’s not a waiting room. And it sure as hell isn’t a life of lack. In fact, when you lean into it, it can be just as fulfilling—if not more so—than being coupled up with kids.
And besides, no matter what our relationship status, what we all really want is to feel good in the here and now. So instead of focusing on what’s ‘missing,’ let’s focus on what’s possible. The freedom. The adventure. The extra time and headspace to create a life that’s truly our own.
Because here’s the thing: you are so much more powerful than you realise. Your thoughts shape your reality. And when you shift your mindset, you shift your life. My mission isn’t just to help you feel better about being single—it’s to help you recognise your own agency. To help you see that you are the creator of your own experience. And that you, and you alone, get to decide what your life looks like.
So join me here every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and let’s build lives that feel joyful, meaningful, and wildly fulfilling — on our own terms.
Let’s Thrive Solo…together.
