I haven't done a playlist minisode for months, and seeing as I recently saw two of my favourite artists, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel, I thought now was an opportune moment!
So, I've thrown together a list of ten (five from each of them) of my favourite tunes by both Bruce & Billy, and given my take on them. Have a listen to the full playlist via the link below...enjoy!

In today's minisode, I'm talking about why music is a great reminder that we are all, fundamentally, the same.
I recently went to see Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel on consecutive nights in London's Hyde Park. Being at those gigs reminded me of the power that live music has to bring us all together.
In an often separated world where so many are afraid of each other, live music is a heartwarming reminder that, in truth, we are far more similar than we are different. When it comes down to it, all of us want happiness and health for ourselves and those we love.
There is nothing like standing in a crowd of 65,000 people united by a song - where religion, race, age, background or beliefs become irrelevant - to remind us that human beings are more alike than we realise.

On today’s Thursday Thoughts, Polly and I talk about the amazing power of gratitude, and why a gratitude practice is something that’s very much worth adding into our lives.
We also talk a little bit about the impact of what we consume on how we feel about ourselves and our lives. It’s so important to be aware of the content we’re allowing into our minds, as well as the people we’re surrounding ourselves with.
We hope you find something of use in here!

On this week's minisode, I'm talking about motivation and more specifically, what to do when we're struggling to find it.
We all have goals, but it's not always easy to find the motivation to do what's required to reach them. Months, years even, may go by as we wait for motivation to arrive and - more often than not - it never does. And so we don't do the thing or achieve the goal.
But what if we looked at motivation from a different perspective? What if we realised that, actually, we need to take some form of action in order to feel motivated, rather than feeling motivated and subsequently taking action?

Let’s be real — being single and child-free? It’s pretty damn awesome. Don’t believe me? Stick around. I promise you, by listening to this podcast, you’re going to start seeing your solo life in a…
I’m Lucy Meggeson, and I’m here to help you stop seeing singlehood as a consolation prize and start embracing it as the incredible opportunity that it is. Because the truth? Being single isn’t second best. It’s not a waiting room. And it sure as hell isn’t a life of lack. In fact, when you lean into it, it can be just as fulfilling—if not more so—than being coupled up with kids.
And besides, no matter what our relationship status, what we all really want is to feel good in the here and now. So instead of focusing on what’s ‘missing,’ let’s focus on what’s possible. The freedom. The adventure. The extra time and headspace to create a life that’s truly our own.
Because here’s the thing: you are so much more powerful than you realise. Your thoughts shape your reality. And when you shift your mindset, you shift your life. My mission isn’t just to help you feel better about being single—it’s to help you recognise your own agency. To help you see that you are the creator of your own experience. And that you, and you alone, get to decide what your life looks like.
So join me here every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and let’s build lives that feel joyful, meaningful, and wildly fulfilling — on our own terms.
Let’s Thrive Solo…together.
