Do you really listen when youâre having a conversation, or are you actually thinking about what your response is going to be? Weâre all guilty of itâŚand we could all improve our active listening skills.
Lucy & I discuss various aspects of listening, including how annoying it is when people interrupt (and how we both have a tendency to do exactly that!), plus that awful feeling when youâre talking to someone but theyâre looking over your shoulder!
Like so many things, awareness is key; so the next time youâre having a conversation with someone, ask yourself whether youâre truly listening to them, or if your mind is elsewhere.
When it comes down to it, every single one of us needs and deserves to be heard fully.
