On today’s Thursday's Thoughts, Lucy and I are talking about the difference between thoughts and thinking, thanks to a book that I have been reading called Don’t Believe Everything You Think by Joseph Nguyen.
We all have thoughts - between 60,000 and 70,000 each day - but we get to choose which of those thoughts we want to entertain into actual thinking, and which of those we don’t.
Lucy and I talk about how we’ve both worked hard on our own thinking over the last few years. We also discuss some of the practical steps you can take in order to become more aware of what’s going on between your ears, including getting into a wonderful ‘flow state’ that gets us out of our thinking brain and into the present moment, and moving your body to shift your energetic state.
