The holiday season is supposed to be a time of joy and gathering with family and friends. But for many, Holiday loneliness creeps in, whether you are truly by yourself or amidst a crowd of people. It doesn’t help that it’s easy to compare what others are doing on social media which creates feelings of shame and further loneliness. Michele Dekeyser joins me on this episode to discuss her CHECKIN method for loneliness and gives us some tips for overcoming loneliness over the Holidays. Michelle holds a MA in education.
