In this episode, we're talking about what self-self care really looks like - but first, we dive a little deeper than our usual check-ins and answer some deep questions to start us off.
Self-care’s PR agent has been putting in some work! It's showing up everyone, especially in marketing. But like most things glamorized on social media, we’re really only seeing the grid-ready manifestation. We're exploring the ways we've internalized this messaging of hustle-self-care and the ways we practice actual self-care by listening to ourselves.

Wellness update: still unwell but outta quarantine & testing negative for COVID-19.
We had a brief hiatus due to the holidays and back-to-back quarantines when we both got Coronavirus, so this week we’re catching up & chatting about quarantine. Physically, the 'Vid hit us pretty differently, but we were both homebound for 10 days & shredding the gnar of isolation. We cover how it felt to test positive, our ambitious plans for quarantine vs the reality of trash TV & steady naps, staying connected, breaking down, post-quarantine perspectives & more. Cheers to health in 2022!

We’re back! Kind of. We’re in the *thick* of Covid recovery so we’re bringing you bloopers, favorite moments, and never-before-heard audio from our first 8 episodes (and ep 1 take 1 that we scrapped because we were nervous & took tequila shots - oops!) Enjoy!

Tis the season….for depression! In this week’s episode, we’re unpacking seasonal depression, SAD, and also general winter blues. For something that happens annually, it still seems like the earlier sunsets and dipping temperatures hit like an absolute ton of bricks this time of year. It can feel disorienting and can so easily convince us that we may literally never see the sun again! Since we never skimp on the dramatics, in this episode, we bitch! But we also talk about ways we can help ourselves through the inevitable lull that occurs over the next several months. As always, we would love to hear from you on how you’re doing and anything you’ve learned to help lighten the mood while you shred the winter gnar.

This week we’re talking about shredding the gnar that is change. One of our listeners sent in a message about how messy it feels to go through multiple moves, changing relationships, and becoming a mom, and despite being where she always wanted to be in life, how difficult it still is to go through changing seasons. And it’s so true! Change is inherently just really difficult to experience. Going through it, especially in your 20’s, can bring up such a range of emotions from grief, fear & sadness, to joy, confidence & gratitude, sometimes in the same day. Even when you “get to where you want to be in life,” you’re not exempt from change, or the emotions of it all. So in this episode, we’re exploring change mostly through the lenses of moving to new cities & changing jobs & what it feels like in that in-between.

In our first episode, we talked about being in the breakup. Today, we’re talking about the chapter that happens next. Glennon Doyle says it best: first the pain, then the rising. But what exactly is the rising, and what does it feel like to rise after heartbreak? While it IS sexy af, powerful, and badass from the outside, it doesn’t always feel that way. There’s surprisingly a lot of tears for something that TikTok makes look so seamless. So we’re chatting about the nuances of moving on, what to do, and how to be with yourself through it all.

The holidays are complicated for almost everyone (if not every single person) and yet, they’re marketed as the most wonderful time of the year, and we’re made out to believe that they should be. Today we’re chatting about the reality of the holidays, how it can feel, setting boundaries, and generally taking care of yourself through this season.

Current location: down the rabbit hole. In this week’s episode we candidly nose dive into our own anxiety, speaking our needs, what we’re working on this week, being professional wrestlers but not doctors & quantum physicists. It’s really unrealistic that we, former babies, would be expected to have a rock-solid structure for every episode, so we took this opportunity to go off the cuff. Enjoy!

This week is all about friendships: how they change, grow & fade as we move through different stages of our lives. Whether you’re graduating college, moving to a new city, thriving in your business, starting a family, or anything in between, it’s tricky to navigate changing friendships and the emotions that come along with them.

Let’s talk about sex, baby! Let’s talk about you & me — well actually let’s talk ~mostly~ about me. Today we’re talking about taking responsibility for your own pleasure in the bedroom, discovering & communicating what you like, & why faking orgasms is no longer a part of our narrative. It’s definitely not a linear road from virginity to mind-blowing sex, and we’re chatting about navigating the space between the two points.
