Meet Martina:
Martina started her career in upper elementary, where she learned firsthand how tough it can be to fit everything into a jam-packed day—especially when students are all over the map with reading and writing. Later, when she moved to middle school ELA, things didn’t get easier… just shorter. The time crunch, the grading pile, the “how am I supposed to do all this?” feeling? Still there.
So she stopped following what wasn’t working and started building flexible, realistic systems that did. Her students read more, wrote more, and actually grew—and she finally stopped taking work home every night.
Now, through The Hungry Teacher’s Hub ELA Teacher Membership, Martina helps 4th–8th grade teachers simplify their instruction, engage their students, and reclaim their time—without burnout or overwhelm.
