When Nate dreamed up Flow State Bike Co, it was never just about bikes. It was about belonging. 

He saw this gap in the local bike scene, no real hub for mountain bikers and gravel rides, to go meet, grab a coffee, talk trail conditions, and feel like they belonged.

But making the LEAP from idea to reality? That’s often the hardest part.

Nate spent over a year crafting a 90-page business plan. Not because he has to but because he needed to be fully aligned with his vision. That document became his compass.

And then… when he opened the doors. Not knowing who would show up… the COMMUNITY came in full force. They were ready. Not just for a shop. For this shop. His vision.

Read everything you can about it. Create content around it. Share it with friends and family. Host free workshops. Immerse yourself completely in this one thing—and commit to it long-term.

By long term, I mean years & years & years!

Play the long game.

Success comes from dedicating yourself to one niche, one message, and one plan. Not jumping from idea to idea, strategy to strategy, or social media platform to social media platform.

building a thriving business isn’t about shortcuts. It’s about becoming the go-to person for your niche.
