Knowing exactly what you want in a relationship will go a long way to attracting the type of man who can give that to you. It’s not enough to be vague, like my client who said she wants more commitment but couldn’t express what that meant to her.

When you know what you want and what type of person will compliment your lifestyle and values, then you’ll be more picky about who you meet. Not every man who matches with you on the dating apps is worthy of a meet and greet. Even if he checks off 3 out of 4 boxes on your list doesn’t mean you should change anything about yourself to make him fit. That’s the equivalent of ‘chasing’ and often leads to disappointment.
