Marc Nelson was born into a body that would give him years of trauma and misery, as he searched for answers from Doctors that would continuously tell him nothing was wrong. Marc's body was producing what is known as 'Skinny Fat' which meant he could not build muscle, and hated the way he looked and felt. He would be bullied as a kid and faced an uphill battle through his teen years and into his twenties. Finally, Marc founded Fellow One, a research company that aimed to reset the way the human body was viewed, and from from a scientific standpoint, re-standardize the human body into four main body types, helping reassure people who suffer from worry, confusion, stress and trauma about their body type. Marc's story is one of triumph against the odds, and it's a truly inspiring episode.

Andrew Douglas saw some things as a Paramedic and First Responder, that he wouldn't wish on anyone. Andrew didn't deal with the trauma of what he had been through in his years saving people's lives, and, unknown to him, his ptsd was eating him up inside and would eventually leave him literally seconds from Suicide.
Thanks goodness Andrew is still here. Just hearing him talk about his life now, how he continues to grow, and the work he is doing around Mental Health, is truly inspiring.
TRIGGER WARNING: Contains discussions of suicide.

This is the After Thoughts section, for the previous episode, featuring Eric Fong. Luke and Kyle discuss childhood trauma and how we are affected in later life. Eric's traumas as a child came back to haunt him, and as with may of these relatable situations, Eric found himself spiraling into drink and drugs and doing seemingly everything possible to run from his feelings. His journey is a familiar one and he is now living an authentic life in recovery, and we are delighted he stopped by to chat!
