Steve and I were driving to my friends wedding and we had the dumbest disagreement. Our defences were at play and we were going nowhere, fast!

Beneath the bullshit, the disagreement was really  about Steve feeling unsupported by me, and I felt I was being controlled by him. On the surface we had our swords, shields and armoured suits on, both spitting fire and thinking we're both right.

But underneath the stupidity of our disagreement, our old wounds were fuelling the sword fight. Once we acknowledged what it was really about, we could stop with the tit for tat, get to the bottom of it and move on.
