Coming from an Italian-Puerto Rican family, every World Cup was a massive celebration, and I played the sport from the time I could walk. Soccer took me through high school championships, Division 1 college play at Dartmouth, and even overseas to England, where I balanced school and semi-professional soccer. But after six knee surgeries and the realization that I needed a long-term career, I pivoted to medicine. Yet, the lessons I learned on the field, discipline, teamwork, and relentless drive became the foundation for my success in business.
