It’s the new year, and oftentimes our guts can be a little off after the holidays. People tend to take this opportunity to jump right into really restrictive cleanses, which often backfire because there’s no wiggle room. But if you want to support overall health, then focus on supporting your gut. There are a bunch of ways to do this, such as simple changes to our diet (like limiting sugar and alcohol), supporting the good bacteria in our GI tracts, and making it unfavorable for not-so-great bacteria to survive. Today, Shira breaks down gut health 101, and shares practices and supplements we can use to support our guts.
