People ask me how was it that I quit and moved on with my life, sans alcohol - and it came down, for me, to this one quote, "When the pain of continuing to use is greater than the pain of quitting." 

All of this was sparked by meeting a man who was 25-days into his own journey and seeing his excitement and trepidation all in one facial expression.

I ask that you really sit down, look in the mirror, and sincerely ask yourself why you did this to yourself.

• what trauma caused this

• like, really, really, really want

• then what would you do?
