Adrian Miller (The Soul Food Scholar) joined me to talk about 2018 BBQ Hall of Fame nominee, Columbus B. Hill. Adrian shared how he made his BBQ bones, the event the sullied his BBQ reputation for a while and how he came to BBQ prominence in the Colorado area.  We also talked about the BBQ Hall of Fame as it is currently set up, the lack of diversity in it and what should happen to change that.  Adrian also told us about the new book he has just started...a very interesting interview!

Ben Volpe (my cousin's son) came on to talk about his battle with T1D! Been was diagnosed 8 years ago (when he was just 6yrs old) and tells us what he remembers early on and how he has grown with this over the last 8 years. Ben sounds much older than his 14 years would tell you...and is quite an inspirational young man!! I URGE you to consider making a donation to his fundraising page. By the way, the first person to donate $500 and can proive it...I will MATCH that donation with one of my own. He is looking to raidse $6,000...let's HELP!!
