People easily claim that they missed a text or they can decline a phone call. Before we can resolve this problem, it’s necessary to look at the various types of communication we have.

Let me preface that in no way am I condoning going silent. By the time we get to midlife, you’d think we’d be brave enough to communicate what we want and whether this person is a good match. But you’ve heard me talk about childhood lessons and traumas that have lasting effects, well into adulthood. Today we’ll focus on how long distance dating, early stages of dating, and a seasoned relationship all have different forms of communication and why it’s important to understand the differences.
