Both guests share their thoughts on the conference and how it helped them to improve their businesses, as well as some personal tidbits.   In this episode, the discussion covers topics like building a strong network, setting goals, and investing in personal development. Overall, it's an informative and entertaining conversation that offers valuable lessons for anyone looking to succeed in the healthcare sector. The episode ends with some playful banter about Katie's love for Peloton.    They will touch on such topics as: The importance of attending conferences: “Meeting the coaches and getting to know them in person.” “One of the things that I really learned was slowing down to speed up. That's something that I literally say to myself, I think every day.” The importance of just knowing your team and making sure your team knows what your expectations are. Lessons learned from working with Matt Phillips and managing their own team in 2023. The biggest takeaway from Dave, understanding where his focus needs to be, understanding how you know how to compete, and what that really looks like that was helpful. The value of being in the room with others: “We've got to put ourselves in the position where we're around other people who are facing the same struggles, or maybe they've been through those struggles. “ Building relationships is important to business growth. The importance of having a support system: “It's amazing how much how much stress that it can take off of you, and how much you can just kind of make things slow down so that you can speed up.” “One thing that I thought of, I think being a business owner can be super lonely.” Meeting the people who helped launch his business: “That's what helped give rocket fuel to the thing that made me continue to grow and be able to afford to make a comeback.” Uncaged Hack: “Growing professionally is more of a spiral that gets refined over time and sharper. Like a pencil in a pencil sharpener, the more you are twirled, the sharper you become.”     If you're ready to join our community of Uncaged Healthcare Professionals we have a 10-week Uncaged Business Launchpad starting May 1st.
