Long before Christmas was a "thing" the Winter Solstice was a celebration of the longest night, the turning point of the year that signalled the light was beginning to return, that the darkness had reached its peak, that we had made it through the darkest time of the year. It’s not a time for resolutions or reinvention. It’s a deeply feminine moment. A moment of rest. Of hibernation. Of planting seeds beneath the soil, where no one can see them yet. So if you’re feeling tired, reflective, introverted, or a little tender right now, nothing has gone wrong. You’re in rhythm with the season. This meditation is here so we can honour that together.
