#007-Magnetic resonance or MR  imaging is one of the most powerful noninvasive medical testing tools- and when we combine it with with the emerging power of artificial intelligence great things are possible. Today we are looking specifically at applying this technology to the brain  in order to help understand dementia from one of the leaders in the field. 

Wiro Niessen is a professor at both Erasmus MC, University Medical Center Rotterdam and Delft University of Technology. He is founder and scientific lead of Quantib, an AI company in medical imaging. He received a master's degree in Physics and a PhD in Medical Imaging from Utrecht University.
