Hi!!! It’s been a little bit but we’re back with another WWYD episode! This week your questions are about in-laws and a dependent friend.
QUESTION #1: My partner is the best but his parents don’t seem to like me. They live overseas and they have no interest in visiting us. I try really hard to involve them in our lives, but they never reciprocate. I can’t help but think I am not who they wanted for their son or their family.
QUESTION #2: I feel like I’m in a completely different life stage to my best friend and I don’t know what to do. I’d be very happy to let the friendship naturally shift, however she is incredibly dependent on me. How would you suggest approaching the friendship going forward without cutting it off fully, but empowering the both of us to be able to live more independently?
