英语里的介词，一直难倒了很多同学。

因为在使用的时候，我们会发现它们的意思十分接近。

就比如past, through, across这三个词，

都有“过”的意思。

past

主要强调 “经过；路过”，侧重于从物体旁边经过

The boy ran past the mailbox on his way to school.

男孩在上学路上跑过邮箱。

The car drove past the old factory.

汽车驶过那座旧工厂。

through

着重指从物体的内部空间穿过，有 “贯穿；透过” 的意思，

也可以表示经历一个过程或凭借某种媒介完成某事。

The sunlight shines through the clouds.

阳光透过云层照耀下来。

She got through the difficult exam with her hard work.

她通过努力通过了这场很难的考试。

across

主要表示 “横过；穿过”（从一边到另一边），

强调从物体表面的一边移动到另一边，

通常和道路、河流、桥梁等有平面概念的事物搭配；

也可表示 “在…… 对面；在…… 另一边”。

He walked across the bridge to get to the other side of the river.

他走过桥到达河的对岸。

The store is just across the street.

商店就在街对面。
