1. Have I planned this ahead of time?
2. Do I have the money for it?
3. Am I trying to cope, or buy something that can't be bought?
4. Am I winning on the value exchange? Am I going to get more value out of this than what I'm going to pay for it?
5. Is my future self going to be glad I made this purchase?
6. Am I evaluating (is no even a possible outcome)? Or am I just trying to justify a spending choice I know isn't in my best interest?
