Issues with weight were personal not encouraged by mission. Some sisters determined not to gain weight. Sisters brough weight issues on mission.

Maintaining weight is important because you spent a lot of money on your mission wardrobe.

No explicit weight loss program, but sisters were always concerned with gaining weight. Larger culture issue not mission related

Film feels like a “hit piece on the church” Some women in the film have left the church.  Pressure about bodies is a microcosm of society. Questions if the film represents the overall sister missionary experience.

Large quantities of food from members are the issue for gaining weight.
