Social Skills Mastery

115. Mommy, Where Does Confidence Come From?

Listen Later

Nurture or nature — is confidence inborn or acquired?  Confidence is largely born from experience and training – trial and error and repeating patterns – this is how we gain confidence.

Even when you’re skilled in a given area, it is only with years of experience that you become confident in yourself and your accomplishments.

But even with experience and peer support, confidence remains somewhat of an elusive mystery. Many experienced people who have all the support in the world may still be insecure and lack self-confidence. Others have deep self-confidence despite their lack of experience and affirmation.

Episode 115 of the Social Skills Mastery Podcast will help you to see where your confidence comes from, why it is sometimes hard to find, and how to sustain it, anywhere, anytime, and with anyone.
