Candis Hickman is a Personal Brand Strategist and Founder of The Miami Girl Society. Through her work she helps coaches and creative entrepreneurs simplify their brand story and identify the strategies they need to grow and strengthen their community, build their influence and become known online. Growing up in Australia as the daughter of a pastor, Candis was all too familiar with the tendency to avoid the spotlight in the name of “humility”, so now she encourages women to get loud and proud, bragging about their gifts and illuminating their talents in service of other people. 

Candis started her professional career at the age of 21, having graduated from university as an Occupational Therapist, but it wasn’t long before a move to the US rendered her degrees useless. Confused and clueless, she spent much of her 20’s exploring different career paths from hosting a local TV show to picking up gigs as a sports model. In 2014 she found herself in a health coaching program and shortly after inducted into the world of online business. Over the course of the next few years she realized that her natural gift was in cultivating community and inspiring women to brand themselves for success in the online world.

When she’s not working (which is rare!), you’ll find her hanging at the beach with a good book and some watermelon!
