Boundaries are essential in a thriving marriage. Especially when your spouse has any kind of mental illness. A lot of people don’t set boundaries in a marriage because they think that it feels like putting up a fence or a wall and it feels unwelcome. And on the surface this makes sense but if you take a deeper look at this you will see that boundaries simply mean, “I’m going to tell you the truth.” And when you are honest this equals an uncomfortable conversation. Uncomfortable Conversations equal vulnerability. Vulnerability equals intimacy. Intimacy equals a thriving marriage. This is part 2 of my interview with Jessica Farmer.
